The Heartbeat of Our Mission: Lil' R&R Farm

Lil' R&R is a privately-funded sanctuary dedicated to providing a safe haven and a new beginning for horses and other farm animals. Located in Flemington, NJ, this incredible rescue has, at times, provided a loving home for as many as 25 horses simultaneously, alongside a lively community of longhorn cows, goats, and chickens. Each animal at Lil' R&R arrives with its own unique story, often having faced neglect, abandonment, or difficult circumstances. Here, they find expert care, proper nutrition, and the peace they deserve.

Our Commitment: Every Note Makes a Difference

The Big Horse Band isn't just playing for applause; we're playing for purpose. We are incredibly proud to announce that a full share of the pay and tips from EVERY Big Horse Band show is directly allocated to supporting the vital operations of Lil' R&R Farm and Horse Rescue.

Animal rescue is a labor of love, but it also comes with significant costs. Currently, Lil' R&R provides a loving home to 12 horses, each requiring specialized care. The sheer cost of providing for these magnificent animals is substantial: grain and hay alone amount to approximately $600 per week. This doesn't even include veterinary care, farrier services, bedding, or facility maintenance.
