The story of Big Horse Band began in 2011, when founder Carl set out to merge a lifelong passion for music with a deep commitment to animal welfare. Formed specifically as a creative engine to raise awareness for The Lil’ R&R Farm and Horse Rescue, the band was built on the belief that great music could do great things.
While the lineup has evolved over the years—bringing together a group of seasoned veterans—the core mission has remained unshakable. Like the rest of the world, the band faced a forced silence during the COVID hiatus, but they didn’t let the instruments gather dust. Instead, they used the time to refine their sound and emerge more polished than ever.
Today, Big Horse Band is firing on all cylinders. With a tightened setlist and a renewed energy, the guys are currently gearing up for a massive 2026. From festival stages to local venues to private events, the herd is ready to ride, proving that experience truly matters when it comes to keeping the spirit of Classic Rock and Country alive.
